AR/VR Image Hands

I am working on an AR/VR project and I am having an issue. We are using a four walled CAVE and when we have Leap Motion in said CAVE, the user's hands and the VR hands we re using have an offset and it makes using the menu we have created and interacting with objects somewhat difficult. Do the Image hands that simply overlay the user's reals hands still exist or will they be added in a future update? If not any ideas how I could make my own AR hands?

I would be very grateful for any assistance.

Can you go into more detail about the setup? Is it AR or VR?

I'm having difficulty visualizing what the issue is. Are you using an augmented reality headset, or are you representing the hands on the walls of the CAVE?

My apologies, obviously I am not explaining this well enough.

I am representing the hands on the walls of the CAVE. The CAVE does stereo 3D requiring the user to wear AR glasses. The particular model that I am using is the Xpand 3d glasses here: http://xpandvision.com/products/xpand-edux-3-3d-glasses/. Ideally, I would be able to use Leap Motion with the 3D stereo turned on and the hands being rendered over the user's own hands making it a more intuitive experience.

For this use case your best bet would be to experiment with the position of the controller in the game engine scene (e.g. Unity/Unreal) to get it as aligned with the real-world controller as possible. The offset is likely the result of our assets assuing a Vive/Oculus offset rather than the offset imposed by the Xpand glasses.

After you've aligned these as best as possible, you should have no need for virtual hands being displayed -- the real world hands can simply interact with the menu.

One question: Is it possible for the IR lamps in the Leap Motion Controller to interfere with other IR signals?

I ask because the Xpand 3d glasses that we use stop functioning correctly when the Leap Motion is within about two feet of them. I have tried several different things to get that to stop but I haven't had any luck yet. Is it possible to get the exact frequencies that the controller is emitting?

It's certainly possible -- the LEDs operate at the 850 nanometer part of the spectrum +/- 25 nm.
