My question arised by noticing that the hw is basically the same between a LM (v1 or v2 doesn't matter) and e.g. the Realsense camera or the Occipital Structure device you cited (it's a stereo camera in all cases), thus the customization of the specific function is in the sw (hand tracking, 6-DoF tracking, depth understanding).
Hence I was wondering if in a future Ultraleap will be thinking to add the 6-DoF tracking function as an option to its API by leveraging the same hw it has along with some SLAM implementation.
