VR Leap on Cardboard Mobile with latest V2 SDK

I cant as i dont own the HW but you can create a nodeJS server on PC to run Leap and talk to phone through wireless, so you will be able to use with GearVR the problem is that i ahve no idea how to
I do want to test this out to see if you get better hand tracking performance in android but my attempts failed

Search about it there alot out there well not enough for me if you manage to get it working please share how you did it.

Today i order the SnailVR which is a chinease competetion for GearVR same 96 degree angle, phone cam pass through, easy access for usb and headphone jacks and for any phone, ill see how it works with Leap as i am getting tired of Cardboard i hope its not garbage

Hi everyone. I try to integrate Google Cardboard and Leap Motion. I already done some setup. Everything works fine (not good but it's ok) if I put Leap Motion on the table but when I try to put it to the back of Google Cardboard it can't detect anything. Do guys have any idea?

As far as I know there's no NFC or gyro in the thing, so this is an odd issue. I'd make sure the cable isn't getting jostled when you move the leap to the back of the phone.

Thank you for your advice Crevver. Today I try more things. Like you said, the Leap Motion can detect hand but if I turn Leap Motion upside down or vertically, it's not working properly (hand prefab not flip). I test with my application and Leap Motion demo on both mobile and desktop it gives the same result.

Does Leap Motion has special setup?

You can check "Auto Orientation" in the configuration utility, this should detect if it is head mounted. If you have Unity, I have found that running it in the engine and watching where the hands pop up in the scene view is helpful for figuring out orientation issues too.

Hello Everyone,
It's been some time since somebody created this topic, there have been no launch of and android SDK ?
I'm looking for a gesture mouse, it's much simpler tha VR app like you guys are doing. I'm planing to use an android tablet on an unreachable place with no space for a mouse, so using "over the air" mouse as my hand could handle it.
There is any APK that emulates a normal mouse ?
