@curling247 Updates to descriptions, media, etc. is allowed but currently updating builds is blocked. We'll be lifting the build update block in a few days, and the 3D Jam Jury will be judging only those builds that made it in on time. That means you can still update your project after this week (and iron out any lingering bugs that people might encounter).
@dwilches That's a fair question, and we definitely don't want to bias any results. itch.io orders games by ratings, so that the highest-rated games rise to the top. It's worth noting that:
- Community voting operates on a star rating system, rather than simple upvotes. More ratings in total does not necessarily equal a higher score.
- We weigh community votes appropriately. A single rating of five stars will not be accorded the same weight as 100 four-star ratings.
- Social media is in many ways a bigger driver of demo discovery and ratings than random selection.
