Ive been looking for a way to integrate my App Radio 3 Pioneer deck with some sort of Car PC. Just last year, intel released these Mini PC's called "intel NUC's".
You can get them in many flavors with different CPU's. (soldered on board)
Most are haswell based i3,i5,i7 series sold as barebones kits. Ive been contemplating buying one of these for awhile now until the newest model was released.
(Intel® NUC Kit DN2820FYKH)
A low powered Bay Trail Celeron dual core processor that runs at 2.2GHZ.

I jumped all over this when I read it runs on 12V.
MY SPECS: (8GB RAM, WIFI, BT 4.0,INFRARED PORT, 1 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0 240GB SSD, 2.2GHZ DUAL CORE CELERON BAY TRAIL)
I installed Win 8.1 and mounted the NUC inside my glovebox, ran the HDMI,Power and my leap motion USB to the deck (HDMI) and below the deck in the sunglasses void (LM USB,Power Plug)
I installed a small 100w inverter ( http://www.scosche.com/car-audio/mobile-accessories/invert-100-watt-portable-power-inverter ) I got from walmart for $30 and tucked it in the sunglasses compartment below my AC/heat fan controls, I used Velcro to mount the Leap motion controller in from of my gear shifter.
I downloaded Air Space and purchased AirAMP. It works perfectly in my car. The locking swipe feature helps with unwanted movement by passengers and I think its the coolest thing ever. I love how I can turn my display off and it will be completely dark inside my car and swipes still work. Infrared is awesome
Thank you devs! for developing apps for this cool piece of tech.
This is definitely the future of car integration with swipe gestures and I feel ahead of the game with my leap motion
I know the min system requirements state i3 or higher, But I have had no issues with this CPU so far with WinAMP.
I made a quick vid last night on youtube just showing the track skip
