Hi... I am interested to test a skeletal model wich 5 fingers... if it's possible to have the grab and pinch mode in an App i would like to test it during Rehabilitation program for Patients after hand injuries

Continuing the discussion from Next-Generation Tracking:

The next-generation of tracking will include a skeletal model, which gaurentees 5 fingers for each hand, regardless of the circumstances.

We're working on releasing a developer beta for this as soon as possible. Sometime after that (when it is better than the current tracking in every way) it will be rolled out to consumers in a way that will ensure backwards compatibility.

There will not any extra event based gestures associated with this release, although there will be a 'grab' and 'pinch' numeric values.

There should not be an increase in latency, we hope it will even get lower.

can you please send me the b version to test as soon as possible? is not possible to view all the hand now in some app? thank you...

That's a terrific idea for helping people recuperate. We don't yet have a timeline to release that beta version but keep checking back to the developer portal and these forums for updates.
