CivCraft - A new game concept is going to release soon

Hi, I’m Arik from Larkon Studio, a game developer company.
We’ve just completed our offical trailer for “CivCraft”, a new cool and innovative game with a completely new concept.
We would love to hear what you think about it before we get started on our Kickstarter project and launch our Alpha release.

“CivCraft - Legends of Ellaria” is a sandbox game, with a combination of full first person shooter with features from other game genres, such as RTS and RPG. The result is an entirely new game that affects the player’s whole gaming experience.

Hi @Arik909 -- looks neat! I find it very interesting that the user will be able to switch from FPS to RTS at anytime.

Curious, how do you plan to use the Leap Motion controller?

Looks a very cool concept indeed. Has the potential to be hugely immersive and of a massive scale that could really be appreciated by the gamer.

I like the idea of being able to switch between FPS and RTS - although my concern would be that it would be implemented in a 'gimmicky' fashion, forcing you to choose one or the other for the majority of the game, a free hand to choose your style and still be able to progress the story MOST of the time would be brilliant though.

We are a sandbox game that allows you to do whatever you want, whenever you want, and you can do it in FPS or RTS. You can switch between them at any time .
You choose your gaming style.

We know it may replace the mouse in the future. We didn't implement it yet, but we have the ability to support the technology when there will be a demand for it.

@Arik​909. You have an intresting concept going, there is also a lot of potential to use the leap motion as well. Do you have a way I can give you more direct feedback? Via email or something of that nature? I definitely don't think you should toss out leap motion support if your going the kick starter route...
