3D pattern of dots of IR light

Hi,

I have a question.
I'm currently working on a school project in which we going to use the Leap Motion.
Now we are writing a research about motion control and one of our subquestions is how does the Leap Motion work. We have answer this question but our teacher want to see how the IR light grid looks like.
On Wikipedia we say the following Youtube video listed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UI5EBzU_QqM only we don't see the side few.

Does someone help us with this so that we have also a side view of the 3D IR light grid.

I dnt think you can see what you are asking for. I'm not sure though.

I 'm saying this b'se that effect seemed like caused when the IR rays hit camera lens. So, In side ways there would be nothing to obstruct so that you can visible such.

Or you should use Night Vision camera.
